What is FSC Certification?
The process of managing forest to achieve one or more clearly specified objectives of management with regard to the production of a continuous flow of desired forest products and services without undue reduction of its inherent values and future productivity and without undue undesirable effects on the physical and social environment.
The above definition has been made possible by Certifications and Eco-labeling of companies and products falling in the supply chain of forest. FSC Certification is one such Certification provided to business owners who can comply with the requirements laid down by the Forest Stewardship Council.

The validity of a FSC CoC Certification is for 5 years, with Annual Audits conducted at in intervals. Delay in yearly audits, or non compliance may lead to suspensions or termination of certificate.
During the course of suspension or termination, a certificate holder cannot trade sell or claim FSC certification of its products.
